2013 Holiday Toy Lists!

I know, it’s only October. I absolutely LOVE the holiday season, and I thought I’d start passing along information to my readers as soon as I find it. The holiday toy lists are out pretty early this year and will be followed by the holiday toy books. I’m hoping this means that the Black Friday ads will leak early also! Toys R Us, Kmart, Wal-Mart, Target, and Amazon all have their lists out already. They mostly contain 15-20 of the hottest toys for the holiday, and I was less than impressed. Except Amazon, they have over 700 on their list. I’ll highlight a few here from the lists, and I’ll be doing a separate post for Amazon.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Secret Sewer Lair Play Set- $79.99

Recommended Age: 4 years and up

This thing is really cool! It stands 42 inches tall and has a zipline and 20 different ninja features. It does not come with any figures and is priced $20 less at Target and Wal-Mart than other retailers.

Doc Mcstuffins Get Better Check Up Center– $64.99

Recommended Age: 3 Years and Up

The Check Up Center is great for Doc McStuffins fans! It includes Lambie, Big Book of BooBoos, and lights and sounds. It is also $20 less at Target and Wal-Mart!

LeapFrog LeapPad Ultra Kids’ Learning Tablet, Green– $149

Recommended Age: 4-9 Years

If you do not already have a LeapPad, this new one is a great choice. My kids have the previous version and love them! The LeapPad Ultra has a larger screen and access to WiFi with parental controls. The WiFi only allows you to access certain sites, which is one complaint I have seen in the reviews. It also has a built-in rechargeable battery, something that its predecessors were definitely lacking. Prices are the same across all of the stores, but this is something to keep your eye out for once the Black Friday ads come out!

Sofia the First Royal Enchanted Talking Vanity- $79.99

Recommended Age: 3 Years and Up

This is a Toys R Us exclusive (although it says coming soon on Amazon)! The vanity stands 3′ tall and includes a stool, tiara, perfume bottles, lipstick, and a necklace. It teaches six different “princess lessons”.

Stay tuned for the Amazon Toy List and a post on Eco-Friendly toy companies!

Until our next adventure,

Moving Mommy
